A short journey of only 90 miles took us to the Hotel at Viveiro (near Lugo). This was on the north coast, with glorious sandy beaches. The Hotel was unusual in that all the rooms were on several floors below the main entrance. The countryside all around this area of Northern Spain is very green and lush.
