Samantha was purchased by David when at University in 1964 and was used as an everyday car until 1974, when a 1961 Alvis TD21 assumed that role. After that, she was used extensively all year round for touring in the United Kingdom and Europe. Her penultimate Continental touring trip was through Spain in June 2009, extending down to the Costa del Sol and staying in the Paradors. A total of almost 2,000 miles in temperatures of 44 C most of the time. She took part in the Nick Walker Tour of Britain in June 2011. In June 2012 we did a trip to Josselin in Brittany.
