Tenth, in September 2012, during the Alvis International Weekend at Cardiff in the 1949 Carbodies Drophead Coupé.

Friday 7th September.

A drive of 136 miles, hood down all the way, to the Future Inn. We stopped for lunch just off the motorway (A48) at The Coach & Horses, a Beefeater Grill Restaurant and arrived at the Hotel at about 2.30pm. There were already quite a lot of Alvis cars there. The Hotel is large, with about 190 rooms. We had a very pleasant suite: large bedroom and large lounge with fridge, TV, sofa, chairs, etc.
