Jaguar Enthusiasts' Club Holidays.

April 2008.  The JEC Rhineland Tour, Germany.
  Ten cars participated in this trip to Germany from10th to 15th April 2008. We set off from home on Wednesday 9th April to drive the 273 miles to our overnight stop at the Folkestone Premier Inn. The crossing to France  was using the Channel Tunnel. We took our 1995 Jaguar Sovereign, owned from new, and didn't see any of the others in the group until we reached the first hotel on the Rhine. The trip was organised by Simon Cronin and Travel Destinations.
Thursday 10th April.       Königswinter for two nights at the Maritim Hotel.
Friday 11th April.             A lunch cruise on the Rhine to Remagen and return. This was followed by a trip up the
                                             mountain to the castle above the town.
Saturday 12th April.       Bad Sassendorf for two nights at the Maritim Hotel Schitterhof. Tour Dinner.
Sunday 13th April.           A trip to Mohnesee for lunch and to look at the famous dam.
Monday 14th April.        Düsseldorf staying at the Hotel Nikko and a visit to the spectacular Meilenwerk Garage.
Tuesday 15th April.        Depart for Flechinelle, France,  to stay with friends.
Friday 18th April.            Return to North Devon via the Channel Tunnel.
