Rolls Royce Holidays.

April 2012. The main group sailed from Poole to St Peter Port, Guernsey on the afternoon fast ferry, on Monday 16th April and returned on Saturday 21st April. The trip was arranged by the South West Section of the RREC. We went in our 1980 Rolls Royce Silver Shadow II, CYT 321V. Chassis 40021.

Seven Rolls Royces and three Bentleys took part in this trip. Two of the Bentleys took the morning ferry on Tuesday 17th. The original arrangements had to be changed because of the closure of the docks at Weymouth. The holiday was based at the excellent St Pier Park Hotel on the outskirts of St Peter Port.  The hotel had a particularly pleasant indoor swimming pool. This was quite a short holiday in terms of distance travelled and we covered only 358 miles door to door.
