  Up. 

     The run from Ascona to Gstaad, via Centovalli, Simplon, Goppenstein, the car train throough the Loetsberg to Kandersteg and into Saanenland to the Palace Hotel at Gstaad. This was the Weekend of the Swiss Veteran Rally and lots of activities, including period Concours were planned. The Alvis cars and owners were invited to participate in the whole "Weekend des Veterans".

 

The car train through the mountain and the wonderful Gstaad Palace Restaurant.

 

The Restaurant again       and the lunch stop on the Swiss Veteran Rally.

 

Wonderful weather for the outdoor lunch.

 

  Returning to the Hotel and aperitifs on the terrace before dinner.
