Wednesday 14th October. The second treatment at the INR.

 

    It wasn't yet decided whether Marilyn would try another treatment, but we went to the INR for our 1pm appointment. After some discussion, it seemed sensibly to have another try, because we wouldn't get another chance. Some of the previous patients had reacted very noticeably to the effects of the drug, but Marilyn's intitial reaction had been disappointing. The second attempt seemed to have an initial result and the tests carried by the team suggested an improvement. However, Marilyn was in the early stages of a cold and she didn't notice any change. Time will tell.
