September 2015. Trip
to the Isle of Man,
based at the
Ramsey Park Hotel, Ramsey.
Day One, Friday 11th. The 275
mile drive from North Devon to the Premier Inn at Roby, about 5 miles from the
Docks. The journey took almost eight and a half hours. We were parked on the
M5 for 40 minutes before even reaching Bristol. The M6 north of Birmingham was
solid almost all the way to the M62. One of the worst journeys we have ever
endured. Even the Hotel was a disaster because our room was so far away from
Reception and, although on the second floor with lift, involved two other sets
of stairs!!!!!!!!!!! Disabled room arranged for Marilyn on the return journey.
Service at dinner in the
attached "Table Table" Restaurant was also incredibly slow.
Too late for the disabled spaces.
