Day Fourteen. 17th September.

Hotel Europe, Colmar.

 

A very busy breakfast, but we were allocated our own tables and plenty was on offer: lots of walking though. It was a very bright sunny day and most of the group went off exploring. We again had a very lazy day. It was much quieter this morning and very pleasant sitting outside the front of the hotel. A slight bombshell was that we could not eat in the hotel that evening and everyone needed to arrange dinner elsewhere. Restaurant places were obviously limited, but fortunately Jan and Mike had been kind enough to book us a table near the Cathedral in Colmar. Thank you Jan and Mike. We set off in a taxi and had a very pleasant meal  a deux at le Bistrot des Copains, Place de la Cathedrale.
