Marilyn and David's Wedding Anniversaries.

Twelfth in September 2014, on the Jaguar Enthusiasts' Club trip to Spain and Mallorca in the 1976 Daimler Double Six Avon-Stevens Convertible.

Day One, Thursday 4th September.

We arrived at Bilbao just before 1pm and set off on our drive towards the Pyrenees and the Parador de Sos del Rey Catolica. Much of this first day was on fast motorways, skirting Vitoria Gasteiz and Pamplona to Sanguesa. The weather was excellent and we had the hood down all the way. We took full use of Marilyn's disabled badge and were able to park right outside the entrance to the hotel. This was especially appreciated as the ground surface was very hilly and uneven. Most of the group went on a guided tour of the village later on. We sat on the terrace outside the bar and relaxed until the excellent group dinner at 8pm. A delightful, if rather hot, first day on our Mallorcan adventure.

Outside the Parador.

The view over the village                                          and the terrace outside the bar.

Puncture repair on the SS100                                                and all the cars parked.
