Marilyn and David's Wedding Anniversaries.

Twelfth in September 2014, on the Jaguar Enthusiasts' Club trip to Spain and Mallorca in the 1976 Daimler Double Six Avon-Stevens Convertible.

Day Two, Friday 5th September.

Wonderful driving weather and fabulous roads on our way into the Pyrenees to the Parador at Arties. We have traversed this route before in our Silver Shadow and it was even more impressive in the open Daimler. Our route took us via Yesa, Jaca, Boltana and Ainsa to Campo, mostly on the N260. The final leg north up the N230 to Vielha was much busier. With such excellent roads and very little traffic, driving was a real pleasure. We made good progress and arrived in time to relax on the terrace beside the swimming pool. Another good dinner was provided by the hotel and we retired to bed well relaxed, although it was to be a very hot night without air-conditioning.
