Trip to South Africa for Toby
and Maritza's Wedding at the Silver Sixpence.
1st to 9th June 2016.
Based at the Kloppenheim Country Estate Hotel.
Friday 3rd June.
After a glorious breakfast, with a wonderful spread of
fruit, etc and hot cooked food, we spent a very relaxing day at the
hotel. There was a reception in the bar in the afternoon for all the wedding
guests already in the area. This was a time to meet some of the family and
friends. We had been invited for supper with Sue, Toby's mother and David's
sister, at the Cairnfern Country Lodge at the Silver Sixpence Estate, where
many of the family and guests were staying. This was a mile or so back down
the rough dirt road: not much fun in the dark! The electric blankets were
wonderful when we returned to our hotel.
