Another excellent breakfast at the hotel: the spread of
food was most impressive. The wedding party was meeting up for brunch at
Milly's Restaurant, Machadodorp on the N4 towards Nelspruit. We joined them
for a final goodbye before everyone departed for Johannesburg and all ports
north, south, east and west. We then headed off towards Nelspruit (lots of
road works on the way!) and returned on the
Highlands Meander. This was a
lovely scenic road up over the mountains. The roads were excellent for most of
the route and far better than in England. We called in at Milly's for
afternoon tea on the way back to the hotel. A lovely day, with another great
dinner at the Kloppenheim.
