Day Six. Friday 9th September.

Our 14th Wedding Anniversary.

 

Most of the group went into Venice on the train at some stage during the day. As we have been to Venice many times before, including on the 1996 Alvis trip and for 4 days for our 4th Wedding Anniversary in 2006, we decided to have a relaxing day around the hotel. We then had a delightful dinner next door (best steak for ages) at the Il Consorzio Restaurant. Getting across the complicated junction was a challenge, but otherwise a wonderful evening.
